Latest Updates 7th December 2021

More Temporary Changes.

Considering emerging evidence on the Omicron variant, the UK government has taken the decision to extend the requirement for pre-departure Covid tests for all passengers aged 12 and over travelling to the four nations of the UK from any country.

The new requirement applies regardless of vaccination status and will come into effect from 4am on Tuesday 7 December. Tests will need to have been taken within 48 hours of the date of departure and can be either a PCR or lateral flow.

People aged 12 years and over must take a COVID-19 test before they travel to England from abroad.

Approved COVID-19 vaccines and countries and territories with approved proof of vaccination

Change made:
Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Latvia and Ukraine can use EU DCC to add proof of vaccination status in the UK passenger locator form.
