Originally a furniture designer, workspace planner and project manager, Kerem has 15 years’ experience in strategic workspace management. He has been working in the education sector for 5 years. He is committed to giving the best possible experience for all students. In his free time he spends time with his family and he is a big fan of sports and travelling.

Kasia Malkowska

Kasia, originally from Poland, has been teaching English for nearly 15 years. She has been passionate about the culture of English language from a very young age and within her career she worked with students of all ages from all over the world. She has not only taught in Europe but also Asia and Latin America. She then decided to get qualified as a teacher trainer, to be able to share her experience with other teachers. Her hobbies include travelling, dancing and learning foreign languages.

Anna Robinson
Anna studied Social Anthropology at Kent University as a mature student and has passion for learning about other people’s culture.  As a child and young adult, she has travelled a lot, growing up in Germany and Kuwait. Her other passions are badminton and horse riding.

Administration Assistant and Teacher

Owen McLean
Owen has a CERT TESOL Level 3 which was obtained during his years at the University of Hull. He graduated in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and is now furthering his career in the ESL industry. He taught at a bilingual secondary school in Spain for a year, helping students with their English and hosted afterschool lessons to help students prepare for the Trinity exam.

Amanda Williams

Amanda Williams has a diploma in teaching English as a Foreign Language and she has been teaching for 12 years. She has worked in China, Thailand, Indonesia and Italy as well as in the UK. Amanda has taught all age groups. She was team manager in China where she designed a course outline and materials for a multimedia based programme. Amanda also has experience in teaching Business and Medical English.

Part time Teacher – RSA TEFL

Virginia D B De Costa

Virginia has worked as a TEFL teacher since 1982, prior to this she worked as a French teacher and a translator with UN agencies in the UK and Africa. Virginia speaks fluent French, Spanish and Italian. She also has a working knowledge of German. Virginia works part time at the school and is a wonderful teacher to have.

Head of Operations and Safeguarding

Verity Sessions

As our Head of Operations and Safeguarding Verity plays an integral part of ensuring our school runs smoothly and that all our students and staff are happy.  Verity Joined our team in 2011 when she returned to the UK after spending many years abroad working in the Fashion Industry and living in Vietnam, Thailand, and India.

When Verity is not at our school, she is a mentor and volunteer for the Young Lives Foundation, or can be found camping off grid in her recently converted campervan.

Accommodation Officer

Joshua Pugh

Joshua joined the accommodation team in March 2022 and is responsible for the residential and student homestays that LanguageUk provides. He has a degree in film studies from the University of Kent and his professional background is in advertising, copywriting and sales.

Accreditation and Academic Consultant

Prof.Ece Inan, PhD

Ece has BA degree in English Language and Teaching; MA in Applied Communicative Sciences- Public Relations& Marketing Communications; and PhD in Public Relations and Business Communication. She has been teaching since 1993 and has held various academic management positions including Vice-Rector, Academic Dean and Head of Department. She has authored 3 books, several articles, and chapters in academic books. She has editorships in various international publications and chaired at many international conferences. She is a bibliophile and a keen theatregoer.

Academic Assistant

Sasha Mouser

Sasha is working at LanguageUK while on her gap year before she begins her bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She was prefect for teenagers as well as a mentor for young people and children in her previous school. Sasha’s hobbies include reading, baking, and travelling.



Suleyman Erdogan

Suleyman has been with us for many years. He is responsible for maintenance, landscaping and general upkeep of the building and its grounds.

Sales & Marketing / Teacher – MA, CELTA, DELTA

Csili Szajko

Csili (Chili) is a Masters, CELTA and DELTA trained teacher with 14 years of teaching experience in Europe, North and Central America. She has been working in student recruitment and marketing with other prestigious schools for the past 4 years. She’s also a Cambridge examiner and an OET interlocutor. Her passions are travelling the world, baking and dancing salsa.

Consultant – RSA Diploma

Joanna Sessions

Joanna is a diploma-qualified teacher with more than 20 years’ experience teaching English. She has worked in London, Oxford, Mexico, Spain and the UK. Before starting LanguageUK, she worked as an Academic Manager, Head of Teacher Recruitment and Manager of the Advanced English department. In addition to being experienced in teacher training, she has also been an examiner for the Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) and IELTS. Joanna has managed LanguageUK since 2008

Marketing Assistant

Georgia Linehan

She has just recently started in this industry after previously working for years as a beautician. She really enjoys learning about different cultures and meeting people from all around the world. Her hobbies include going for walks with her dog and spending time with her son.
