Amanda Williams

Amanda Williams has a diploma in teaching English as a Foreign Language and she has been teaching for 12 years. She has worked in China, Thailand, Indonesia and Italy as well as in the UK. Amanda has taught all age groups. She was team manager in China where she designed a course outline and materials for a multimedia based programme. Amanda also has experience in teaching Business and Medical English.

Giulia Revelli 

Born and raised bilingual, Giulia has over 17 years of teaching experience both in the UK and abroad. Giulia has got CELTA, DELTA and a Master’s Degree and has worked for many language and state schools, covering different roles from EFL Teacher to Teacher Trainer, Assistant Director of Studies and Director of Studies. Giulia has a passion for foreign languages and travelling. She enjoys doing sport, playing guitar, reading books and hosting dinner parties for friends and family.

Noel Ensoll

Noel has the diploma in teaching English as a Foreign Language and has extensive experience in TEFL. Noel has been teaching for 12 years. He has taught Business English for the British Council in Tokyo. He has been employed as an Assistant Director of Studies. He is a member of the English Speaking Union and coordinator for the National School Public Speaking competition. Noel was previously trained as an IELTS examiner.

Claire Roberts
I am a qualified teacher who has worked in the British education system for over 20 years. I  hold a Trinity Cert TESOL and I am official tour guide holding the prestigious Blue Badge!  I love teaching and particularly like meeting people from all over the world.  I speak Spanish and French but not at school, of course!  I actually make time for a hobby.  Very occasionally I make ceramic pots at home.

Part time Teacher – RSA TEFL

Virginia D B De Costa

Virginia has worked as a TEFL teacher since 1982, prior to this she worked as a French teacher and a translator with UN agencies in the UK and Africa. Virginia speaks fluent French, Spanish and Italian. She also has a working knowledge of German. Virginia works part time at the school and is a wonderful teacher to have.

Student Services Manager

Verity Sessions
Verity joined our school in June 2011, having spent the previous four years hosting students from all over the world. She has spent many years living and working overseas in the fashion business setting up quality control departments and dealing with ethical trade audits. Verity has lived and worked in many countries including Vietnam, Thailand, and India. Verity has qualified in Student Service Management, a Specialist safeguarding Lead level 3 Prevent, First Aid and mental health programmes. Verity is also in charge of administration, travel,  and overseas the running of the accommodation department. In her spare time, she has recently qualified as an accredited mentor for the Young Lives Foundation, volunteering with U18.

Accommodation Officer

Joanna Galek

Joanna joined our school as Accommodation Officer in January 2020. She has a diploma in Finance from Higher School of Banking and over 7+ years office experience.

Originally from Poland, living in England for last 15 years.

Joanna is very family orientated, loves spending time altogether and likes to be out and about.  She loves photography and traveling whenever she can. She played handball nationally in Poland for more than 10 years.

Book Keeper

Alison Miller

Alison is the book keeper for LanguageUK.  She has been working for the school for many years and her appearance every Friday is always most welcome!  She works meticulously sorting out all the accounts for us.

Joanna Sessions

Marketing Director & School Founder – RSA Diploma

Joanna Sessions

Joanna is a diploma-qualified teacher with more than 20 years’ experience teaching English. She has worked in London, Oxford, Mexico, Spain and the UK. Before starting LanguageUK, she worked as an Academic Manager, Head of Teacher Recruitment and Manager of the Advanced English department. In addition to being experienced in teacher training, she has also been an examiner for the Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) and IELTS. Joanna has managed LanguageUK since 2008

Sales and Marketing
Jonathan Allan
Jonathan has spent the last 17 years working in the International Education sector both as an English Teacher in Brazil and Chile, School Principal and in various International Sales and Marketing roles for accredited language schools. Jonathan  started his career as an EFL teacher in Brazil where he set up his own language school and is fluent in Brazilian Portuguese.
Administration and Enquiries Officer
Martina Podsednikova Smyrk
Before she joined LanguageUK in 2018 and for a number of years , Martina took care – in person, over the phone and emails – of many demanding customers from all around the globe in a very busy manufacturing environment. When you contact LanguageUK, she will get back to you quickly with the information you need – and more!  This will help you navigate to our school in Canterbury safely!
