如何到达坎特伯雷

The easiest ways to travel to LanguageUK in Canterbury

By Plane

If you are flying to London and don’t know how to reach Canterbury, you have two options:

1. Ask us to book a private taxi transfer for you: transfers are booked through us and fees vary according to the airport you fly to, so it is important for us to know where you are going to arrive/depart from.

To book your taxi transfer, we will need all details of your flight (airport, flight number, flight company, arrival/departure times, ETC。) in advance.

2. Take a train from one of the airports to central London and from there to Canterbury. All airports are very well connected to central London by fast and reliable trains. You can book your train ticket online or buy it at the airport. Please notice that buying tickets online in advance can make you save a lot of money. This is because train fares go up the closer you get to the selected date of your travel. From Central London, you will then have to take another train to Canterbury. You will have 2 options: travelling to Canterbury East (this is a longer and slower journey but a little cheaper) or travelling to Canterbury West (this allows you to board fast trains that reach Canterbury in about 1 hour). Both Canterbury East and West stations are central, so you will only need to walk a few minutes to reach shops and restaurants. The station closer to our school is Canterbury East.
At the bottom of this page you can find the link for a train website where you can also find out about coaches. By inserting places and dates, you will be able to check times and fares for your journey.

By Train

If you are taking the Eurostar train and crossing the Channel, you will be directed to Central London, specifically to St Pancras station. From there, there are fast and ordinary trains to Canterbury West every one or two hours.
At the bottom of this page you can find the link for a train website where you can also find out about coaches. By inserting places and dates, you will be able to check times and fares for your journey.

By Ferry

If you are crossing the Channel by ferry and getting to Dover Port, you can then decide if you want to take a train or a coach to Canterbury or if you have your car and prefer to drive. At the bottom of this page you can find the link for a train website where you can also find out about coaches. By inserting places and dates, you will be able to check times and fares for your journey.

By Ordinary Bus

If you are already in Kent and just need to reach Canterbury from one of the small towns or villages nearby, you can rely on trains (see link below) or ordinary buses (see relevant link below). To buy a bus ticket, you can simply pay the bus driver just before boarding –; please notice that buses accept cash and cards.
